Who we are
Sahara Nova ("we", "us") is a digital agency based in Nairobi, Kenya. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website. Contact: james@saharanova.co.ke.
What we collect
- Contact form: name, email, company, country, budget and project details you choose to send.
- Analytics: only if you click Accept on the cookie bar, we use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to count visits and see which pages people use: pages visited, referrer, approximate location (country/city), device and browser. Google does not log or store IP addresses for Analytics 4. If you decline, no analytics code loads. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. We use no advertising cookies.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals and improve our website. Our lawful bases are your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Sharing and transfers
We use trusted processors to run this website and our business, for example website hosting and form handling (Netlify, Inc., USA), email, and website analytics (Google LLC, USA, only if you accept analytics cookies). Some of these providers process data outside Kenya and the EU/UK under appropriate safeguards. We never sell your data.
Retention
Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept as long as required by law.
Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019 and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR, you can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, or object to its processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
